True enlightenment requires a lifetime of devout meditation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: red\">What of those who are not monks?<\/span> I asked. <span style=\"color: red\">How will the rest of the world find time in their busy lives to seek Supreme Enlightenment?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The master scowled. <span style=\"color: blue\">Why should those who are not monks seek Supreme Enlightenment? That is our task. We seek enlightenment for them, and then once we have found it, we tell them what it is.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: red\">How can one be told of Supreme Enlightenment? Will they  believe us? Will they listen?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: blue\">If they do not listen,<\/span> said the master, <span style=\"color: blue\">we will hit them with sticks.<\/span> He raised the <em>Heavy Stick Of Supreme Enlightenment<\/em> over his head and waved it around a bit.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: red\">But master!
